This is a close-up photo of the plow mechanism of a Colorado Special snowplow. In Red Mountain Pass, mechanical issues with the plow mechanism keep one of the CDOT patrol's Colorado Specials out of service on the night when Lyle Morrison plows Dr. Philips' vehicle off the road.
